After watching !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on short throw paddles, I was sold on upgrading my mom’s Jaguar XF to a short throw setup. Then I found out they are f*cking $1,600 for the set!!! Guess Mother’s Day is going to suck for her!

You know what, dammit, I wanted to know what the benefits of whatever the hell a short-throw paddle was. I was intrigued. I was willing to give it some thought.
A curse on you, sir!

I was like “wut” when reading this. I know on some cars with paddle shifters a tune to the computer can speed it up. But I just had to know for sure. Damn you.

I like my jokes like my cars, worn out and forgotten.

Well it makes sense to me. A lot of cars have quite a bit of movement to the paddle and then you hit a kind of soft engagement point. There was actually a largeish segment on /DRIVE’s inside Koenigsegg series where they talked about all the work that went into getting the paddle actuation feel -just- right. I figured this was something similar. Less movement, and a more positive tactile response.

Sorry sir. New Jersey upbringing. Can’t fool me with that shit.
However, hats off, as the only thing that tipped me off was it being too rediculous while being too polished with the slick photo. +1.

Short throw fuel door release, cuts .3 seconds off your pit stops at the kwik mart.
